A dydoe piercing is located on the upper corona on the head of the penis; usually done in pairs, one on either side. These can only be done if your anatomy allows it, as there has to be ample enough tissue to pierce and hold the jewelry; if they are done too shallow they will eventually just migrate out.
Typically, the piercing is done with a 10 or 12 gauge curved barbell, length is determined by the client’s anatomy. These piercings are mostly done on a male for esthetics but, this is one genital piercing that a sex partner can definitely benefit from. Consultation for this is required to determine whether it would be a viable piercing and custom jewelry will usually need to be ordered.
Dydoes are done like most other piercings; once the area has been cleaned and marked, the tissue is pierced and the jewelry inserted.
Although the procedure is very quick, these can be a little more painful than other genital piercings as the tissue in this area can be quite dense. Due to the excessive amount of movement, these piercings can see they do sometimes have a tendency to migrate so downsizing the jewelry if migration occurs is important.
