Tribal Expression Kids has unique approach to professional, single use needle ear lobe piercing. Our fun, calming, interactive approach makes the experience for 5 to 12 yrs old a great time. We are working hard to provide a lot different of an experience than what has traditionally provided from the “gun piercings in the mall”.
It’s fun and special when they get off the piercing table with fresh pierced ears and look at them in the mirror for the first time, they are super proud of themselves and we love to celebrate that experience with them!
We make sure to make it a fun, positive experience and we rarely see tears, even in our youngest clients. All of our children’s ear piercings come with a certificate, and jewelry discounts for life.
After much thought and discussion Tribal will no longer pierce infants and children from 1 to 4 years old. Over many years of experience we have found that we can provide a top level service on children from 5 and up, we are confident that we can always provide a positive, special experience that both you and your child can remember for the rest of your lives.

We have our own dedicated team / factory to supply our brand to ensure quality, design, inventory control, avoid price increases, but most importantly to support local and support local artisans to manufacture high quality body jewelry here in Calgary :)
The quality of the jewelry worn in a fresh/healing piercing is incredibly important and can either make your child’s first ear piercing experience a dream or a nightmare. All of the jewelry at Tribal Expression is implant-grade quality, we offer items in stainless steel, titanium, and solid 14k gold; the price point will vary depending on the material and the style but, it is all perfectly fine to use for your child’s piercings.
Piercing your child’s ears with either rings or studs is an option but, there are some considerations to take into when making this decision. All of our jewelry is priced per piece and our studs are sold in two separate pieces; our jewelry stylists will thoroughly go over all of the options and the pricing with you before the actual piercing appointment begins.
Price points can be vastly different from piece to piece so if at any time you have any questions about your total or how our pricing works, let us know. We do have many other options available if you are working within a budget.
