pre-sterilized overseas. Every instrument that touches your body has gone through a verified, temperature-logged
sterilization cycle specifically for your appointment.

immediate-use sterilization cycles to prepare instruments specifically for your appointment. This is the

Why Individual Sterilization Matters
Many studios and clinics still rely on bulk sterilization or mass-packaged tools that are processed in large
batches and stored for long periods of time. While this approach can technically meet minimum guidelines, it
increases the opportunity for packaging to be damaged, compromised during handling, or exposed to less-than-ideal
storage conditions.
Tribal Expression’s system eliminates those risks entirely by using immediate-use sterilization with sealed
cassette autoclaves. This means the tools, needles, and jewelry for every client are sterilized specifically for
that person and are delivered directly to the piercing room still inside the sterilizer cassette.

Tribal Expression uses a fleet of modern sterilizers designed specifically for high-level instrument reprocessing:
Statim 5000 G4, Statim 2000, and a Class B Bravo V16. All three units create powerful steam penetration,
consistent pressure, and accurate temperature logs required for reliable sterilization.
Our autoclaves use internal cassettes that allow our team to transport sterile tools, disposable needles, and
jewelry directly to the piercing rooms. The cassette remains closed until the moment the piercer opens it in front
of the client — creating a visible, tamper-evident chain of custody.
Clients at Tribal Expression can see directly into our sterilization area from the waiting room. You are welcome
to watch cassettes being loaded, cycles running, and instruments being prepared in real time, offering a level of
transparency and reassurance very few piercing studios offer.
Biological Spore Testing & Verification

Every sterilization cycle run at Tribal Expression is tracked using both digital and physical evidence. This is

When items must be stored, they remain sealed and are placed into UV disinfection cabinets. These cabinets help
maintain the cleanliness of the outer surfaces of sterilization pouches.
This is rarely needed due to our individual sterilization workflow — but when storage is required, we ensure that
packaging remains protected from handling contamination and environmental exposure.
Tools, Needles & Jewelry: Quality Matters
Tribal Expression only sources medical-grade needles, surgical steel tools, and APP-appropriate implant-grade
titanium, niobium, and gold jewelry. High-quality materials sterilize more reliably, cause fewer reactions, and

We avoid low-quality pre-sterilized needles, unverified alloys, and imported bulk piercing kits. Every piercing is

Our sterile reprocessing room is built around a one-way workflow with clearly defined zones that mirror
hospital-grade instrument reprocessing. Clean and dirty items never cross paths, and each zone is designed for a
single purpose.
- Dirty zone – used instruments are cleaned ultrasonically.
- Sterilization zone – cassettes and loads are processed in Statim and Bravo units.
