This piercing can make a huge statement done in triplicate, or just add a subtle sparkle to a client’s ear with a solo piercing. The triple forward helix piercing hit the internet a few years ago and, since then, has become one of our most requested piercings at the studio. Although we do love the aesthetic, unfortunately, this piercing is very anatomy-based.

These are one of the less painful cartilage piercings as the tissue is quite thin here compared to other areas of the ear. Keep in mind, forward helix piercings can be very easy to heal when dealing with one, but complications can arise from having multiples done.

Having the area covered with your hair continually and/or having hair get tangled on jewelry can lead to irritation. Wearing a mask frequently can also cause problems due to the close proximity of where the elastic sits to the location of the piercing.
